I forgot I wanted this on my artwork blog! I'm getting the two mixed up, oh well! So I loved the sunlight and shadow in this photo from my Sister's new garden shed, so was looking forward to starting the watercolor. Hope I can keep the mood I want throughout the finished piece! Sometimes I finish and seem to think it was better when I first started it so I have to try not to overwork it and keep the center of interest where I want it to be.Tuesday, March 16, 2010
New Painting

Nice. Love to see this as work in process. I am always intrigued by how you depict shadows (like the leave imprints on shed). They are in and of themselves a work of art. And the way you leave spots of white to me is always amazing. The darks look great too. Thanks for sharing here as I couldn't get to your class to peek over your shoulder. Nice, nice, nice. Light and airy!
