In the bottom photo I added a little wash of color to the gate. We started this with a sheet from a telephone book and built up after that. I'm using the tack iron method except with the many tissue papers which are just added with matte medium or polymer. And these images are from a garden in Lockport that I came across in the winter. Our sketch class visited it and worked there in the summer.
